As we move onto the second installment of this event series we’ll keep continue the focus on tangible, dancefloor-focused beats, both live PA and DJ formats.

CAPTAIN RIDICULOUS (Philadelphia) – Electro/Disco
Captain Ridiculous (aka Jake Yaster) will be bringing some fresh heat to the night with some heavy-hitting electro and disco flavors from the 21st Century. Expect to get fuzz-jacked.
KUMABEAR (Brooklyn) – LIVE! Electro Tech
I saw kumabear play a set at the November 2007 Broketronica event at the old Inciting HQ. His chunky, funky, and jazzy electro techno stylings reminded me of how important live hardware is to techno. What will kumabear bring to the table this time? I can’t say, but I’m sure it’ll be sweet and of course it will be live.
