If you were at the 2009 Philly Laptop Battle you saw zooz (aka Dominic Martin) throw down. Crunched micro beats, cleverly evolving groove, and animalistic samples coalesce in zooz’s slightly abstract, yet grounded minimal techno style. I am very excited to have him kick this event series back into gear.
